The still-unnamed kitty I rescued seems happy to live in my home.
I did not want a pet. But she needed a home. This seemed an appropriate right action. Imitating the the most fundamental of yoga poses, Downward Dog, she seems to have perfected “downward cat.” Perhaps that is a sign.
Drawing #12 created on Doodle Buddy for iPad by Pinger, Inc
I can’t draw. But today I will draw for the next 31 days.
My month of digital “artwork” is due to a challenge from The Nester, a blogger who suggests her readers do the impossible; create one post per day for the entire month of October.
My posts may look a childish, but I teach children who love the little doodles I create for them on my phone. They see the intention in art – not the flaws. A child’s tree, my tree, a Rembrandt tree; all are a tree. If only adults could view the world so simply! I seek only to capture the essence of what I view. I hope you’ll come along on this month-long challenge with me!
